Opening Keynote: The 4-Minute Formula - Eddie Slowikowski

Developing a Campus Master Plan

A campus master plan is no small undertaking but with increasing enrollment and additional housing being constructed, Appalachian State University dining services needed to explore how to meet the needs of its growing community. This session takes you through the process of forming a dining master plan, getting buy-in from campus stakeholders and implementing the plan in order to increase revenue and satisfaction with students, faculty and staff.

Attendees and registered guests can choose from a variety of activities being offered on Friday, April 12th from 3-5PM

All activities and workshops are complimentary for all attendees and guests who are registered for Camp FCSI. Guests who are not registered for the conference will be charged $50 to participate in the activities/workshops.
FCSI is covering the cost of these events but registrants will be charged a $99 cancellation fee for any cancellations requested after March 11th and for all no-shows the day of the event - no exceptions.

Crafts and  Drafts:

Meet at the Riversong Balcony at 3:30PM 

This arts and crafts session will be a little different than you remember from your summer camp days!  Create a fun craft while enjoying the sunshine, fellow campers, and local beers.

Horseback Riding - Sorry, this activity is full

Meet in the Lobby at 3:30PM

The Renegade Trail Ride is a western style one hour guided tour which runs in between the Wolf-Dancer golf course and McKinney Roughs Nature Park. We offer a unique experience with different levels tailored to the individual’s riding capability. These Trail Rides are for ages 6 years old and older with a dress code of closed toed shoes and long pants. It is required that children 13 years old and under wear protective head gear which we provide. Being that our trails are so diverse this trail ride is a walk only “no trotting, running or cantering is allowed”. The weight requirement is 275 pounds maximum and closed-toe shoes and pants are required. We look forward to bringing out your inner Cowboy, Happy Trails! 

Archery and Tomahawk - Sorry, this acctivity is full

Meet in the Lobby at 3:30PM

Each participant will learn the fundamentals of archery and tomahawk throwing and test their shooting and throwing skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced staff. Closed-toed shoes required.
